I was reviewing some stuff in Stamper’s Sidekick Pro the other day and realized there is no report for Payments Due – that is Open orders for which you have not received full payment yet. Also the welcome screen shows an amount that is not correct. So I started working on those this week and would like to know if any users out there have any other suggestions. Or of you or someone you know is not using SS because of some feature that is missing let me know and I will see if it is possbilet to add.

Sorry about the hiccup there. The combination of being a one-man shop, the busy Christmas season and old credit card info conspired against my domain auto-renew. However all is well now. Thanks for understanding.

I was not aware until this evening that there was a problem with the the purchase page on the web site. I quickly got that resolved and will try to figure out what happened there to prevent that in the future. Sorry if you have been trying out the Free Edition or demo and were ready to order but couldn’t. It’s all better now and you can now order anytime.

I have been updating the site this week with new screen shots. I have screens shots of the main Welcome page and the Customers, Events, Orders, Projects and Products screens. You can check them out here. I will be adding a few more yet this week.

After you purchase Stamper’s Sidekick Pro 2.0 you will receive an email with a download link. It is the same full version of SS as the Free Edition but without the customer number limit and the block on Product List imports and Expenses. Run the setup just like you would with any program.

When you startup the Licensed version of SS before you have registered you will get a prompt similar to this

Of course when you first startup SS Pro you don’t have any unlock code to enter. So jot down the Installation Serial Number and click OK. Email that number to the address listed and I will process your unlock code usually within 24 hours – but maybe a bit longer depending on weekends, holidays and such.

You will have 15 days to use Stamper’s Sidekick before you will be required to unlock so be sure to send in your request fairly soon so you aren’t locked out while waiting for your unlock code.

If you are on the fence about whether or not you should buy Stamper’s Sidekick you can always try out the Free Edition with no time limit.

Well folks, I finally got it done – at least done to the point where SS Pro 2.0 is available for sale. There will always be improvements made, features added and yes, bugs fixed – but it is now to the point where I can safely say it is ready to go live!

As I was doing the final setup on my website shopping cart, I ran into a problem with the setup. So for now the purchase is run through PayPal. You don’t have to have a PayPal account but you will be taken to their site to complete the transaction. Once I get the details worked out on the shopping cart you will be able to complete a secure transaction right on stamperssidekick.com.

So if you have been waiting to purchase you can hop right over and get your own, fresh-off-the-presses copy of Stamper’s Sidekick Pro 2.0.

I have been working on the licensed version of Stampers’s Sidekick Pro 2.0 this week. Even as I type this I am performing test installs on various machines trying to catch any bugs so the install will go smoothly for everyone. Also I want to get some more screen shots up on the web site this week. My schedule is tight so I may just ask my web designer to help with that just so it will be sure to get done. Finding the time myself is challenging and he knows the site tools a lot better than I so it is more likely to get done correctly.

I will post here, on Facebook and likely send out another email to my mailing list when it is ready for purchase. All things look good for the Aug 15th date!

I am getting close to releasing the new Stamper’s Sidekick Pro 2.0 for sale. I will be doing some testing of the licensing/unlock component the next week and then testing the install on a few different computers the following to make sure I have the bugs worked out as much as I can. So given that timeline I am planning on releasing it for sale by August 15th, possibly sooner if testing goes well.

With the new vesrion of SS Pro 2.0 there no longer is a 15 day demo period. Instead I have made a somewhat limited version that is now free for anyone to use! This free version also works for existing Stamper’s Sidekick v1.0 users as a demo. Here is how it works:

For new customers: This edition is free for up to 10 customers and contacts (plus you as the demonstrator). The product list import and expenses features are also disabled. Otherwise it is fully functinal. You can use this as a demo to try out Stamper’s Sidekick Pro before paying for the licensed version or if you have a small business you can use it within its limitations for free as long as you like. At anytime, should you decide to pay for the licensed version your data is save, the licensed version will use the same database file so you don’t lose a thing.

For Stamper’s Sidekick 1.0 customers: As an existing Stamper’s Sidekick customer, you can download and use this Free Edition as a demo. You can start with a blank database or import your old one – you will be prompted when you first open Stamper’s Sidekick Pro. If you import your SS v1.0 data and it has more than 10 customers you will not be able to add any new customers or orders and you will be limited to just 10 minutes of using the program before it closes. Hopefully that will be enough for you to try it out and decide if an upgrade is right for you.

The version that is available for download now is still in Beta – there are a few bugs I have yet to work out. If you run into anything you can let me know via the Support Request form. Of you can use that form to email me any general Stamper’s Sidekick question you might have.
